Dědina Primary School is a Prague primary school with extended language and art education and Waldorf classes. The school has been providing quality education since 1983 and focuses on the all-round development of its pupils with an emphasis on an individual approach.

The original school website no longer met the modern standards and needs of the institution. The main problems were:

The school management wanted a modern, clear and user-friendly website that would match the character of the school and at the same time meet all the requirements for a school website in the 21st century.

For the new school website, we chose the WordPress content management system, which we tailored to the needs of the educational institution with advanced technical features:

Navigation with content categorized by target groups (students, parents, applicants). Advanced responsive menu with drop-down sections and mobile optimization. On larger screens, the submenu opens alongside the main menu, while on mobile devices it overlays the entire screen for better readability.

Animated pupil characters that move as the page scrolls. Elements are initially hidden and only appear when scrolling, ensuring smooth loading. Uses the Lenis library for smooth movement and is optimized for all devices. Characters gradually scroll from the sides to the centre, bringing the school website to life.

The content filtering function by year allows you to find a specific class. The drop-down menu offers an easy selection of the year, after which the content of the page is immediately updated without the need to refresh. Individual class cards are randomly animated with different tilt and position, giving the page a dynamic and playful look.
